Viewing and Managing Holdings

  • View Purchased Shares: Go to the 'Holdings' section after logging in. It shows quantities, buy price, and current value.
  • T1 Shares: These are shares bought but not yet settled (T+1). They appear under T1 Holdings but are not yet in the demat account.
  • Recently Bought Shares Not Showing: Shares are credited on T+1 or T+2 in case of short delivery and auction settlement.
  • Bonus/Split Shares Missing: Credited within a few days (up to 15 for bonus). Ensure eligibility on record date and check with support if delayed.

Understanding Buy Average & Adjustments

  • Buy Average Formula:Buy Avg = Total Purchase Value / Total Quantity (Excludes taxes, brokerage, etc.)
  • "Enter Buy Rate for QUANTITY" Error: Happens if shares are:
    • Transferred from another broker without cost details.
    • Affected by unprocessed corporate actions.
  • Incorrect Buy Average:
    • May result from FIFO method, corporate actions, or transferred shares.
  • Sold & Bought Back Same Day (T2T or Regular):
    • Treated as separate trades.
    • New purchase gets its own buy average.
    • FIFO is only for tax gain/loss calculation, not price averaging.
  • Add Multiple Trades for Transferred Shares:
    • Input original prices manually on the platform or request help from support.

 Performance Tracking Features

  • Performance Curve: Graph showing investment value over time.
  • Account Value Curve vs Portfolio Curve:
    • Account Curve: Includes cash + holdings.
    • Portfolio Curve: Only holdings’ performance.
  • Timeline Feature: Shows chronological activity (buy/sell, dividends, corporate actions) per security.

Mutual Fund Value Differences in Dashboard: Due to NAV timing, asset inclusion/exclusion, or data sync delays.
